Living in the now cannot be the goal. If a molecule lives in the now, there is Brownian Motion, but random motion isn't enough. There must be a vector. The molecule that risks a vector is skating on thin ice, but without the explorer, there is no science.

Ontological Hierarchies in the B-space

The B-space is comprised of the B-nidi and corresponding gravano-netric forces. This involves B-gravity as discriminated out from other gravities based on stoichiometric constants and crystalline structure. The B-hierarchy, we will remember, does not end in a point but a set(Beth symbol). When working with ontologies, this is important because it fractures concepts along similar value lines and also helps to establish a set of boundary functions for settling issues. This is string theory and Cantor blessing applied forward to ontological structures, which, necessarily involve mathematical vectors.
Notice the word "fractures" above. Is it a violent word? Could be. Our aim, after all, is to break something down, not build it up. We learned this technique in Science 101. If we break it down, why do we break it down? We either break it down to diminish it's strength, or to enhance it's strength. You have to break an atomic bomb down into its parts before you can make it work. If it doesn't yet exist, you have to trust that it will.
Groupings, we learn from gestalt psychology, are more powerful, etc. Think of when you focus a microscope. The scientist will not put up with blurry images. He needs to focus quickly on his objective, and he will crank your knob if it isn't right (orthomentoring). He is a specialist and a convergent thinker.
The science fiction writer, on the other hand, is the one who cranks the knob back and forth into the micro-altitude, seeing what might be flying above the objective and occluding the view of the future. He is the divergent generalist (as contrasted to the prickly scientist above). Both types appear eccentric in their pajamas.
One of our problems is that everyone seems to speak for the "American People" yet I am one and accept the fact that I have been given only the one avenue of changing things: the vote. This is nuts, because I would vote for more wisdom in charge, but that involves a concept and not a binary choice (which is our out-of-date system of representation).
People are to be represented, not spoken for. The good leader instantiates people rather than speaking for them. Now that we have the value nidi of the elders, we can see where we went wrong along the way and let the bullies run the pack.

The Humanus Systems Trust has finally gotten the patent on Inodalyn, and will be the first to use the drug to do psychedelic tests with the IBM Big Blue computer. IBM thinks that Inodalyn, if given in mass dosages, will produce a good resistance to bot rot. "The new bots must outsmart the Zeitgeist at the null point using resonance tuning with the Maslow-Lukasiewicz Discriminators," esplained Ricky Ricardo. One of the Russians splained about getting the dog feces off the tie with Inodalyn and it worked. This will surely be a partnership for us to watch.

Metapathology and Disease Vectors

I recently received a policy holder card from my prescription insurance company (HPA) that spelled my name with all lowercase letters. This is the first time I have experienced this on what I assumed to be a professional document. For me, it was a small--but noticeable--form of disrespect and arrogance. I'm not even sure if it's my legal name, to think of it. The first small insult from "The System" came for me a few years ago when I started to come upon forms that had truncated the middle name to middle initial. Having gone by my middle name all my life, I was suddenly prevented from using it. Now, I must refer to myself by my first name in order to be recognized. This was not noticeable to most people because they had no need to use their middle names, but the "system" had somehow decided to insult those of us who did. Was it the mechanomorphically crippled programmer trying to save bytes? Surely, any greedy executive would have an erection at the thought of saving pennies by truncating names. Probably the most important point in all this is that we seem to be up against a slowly developing disease in our species. It's a creeping disrespect for humanness. Dale Carnegie taught us how important it is for us to embrace someone's name. It's our place in the great social database--our common handle. So when it is stepped on by immature people, it hurts, even though just a little. And there seems to be no fighting off this disease. It creeps, ever so slowly, into a new reality. It's another small swindle.
